A Little Late

I know I am a little late on this post but just not had the time to sit down and write it. This 4th of July was probably the most patriotic 4th I have spent in many years and it was really special. It was special because I really got the meaning of what the holiday was all about. It may have taken me 55 some odd years but it was more than just fireworks for me this year.

I went to a concert in the park where they played patriotic music and then had a fireworks show with music and it really did move me. One section they honored all the service men and women by playing each of the songs for each of the branches of the armed services and the people stood up who were in these was really moving. Then we sang America the Beautiful and Glod Bless America, and more than ever it gave me goose bumps. The whole thing was just real special and I am so grateful to be an American Citizen!

Hello Sharon,
I visited your blog today. I was reading a little bit about you on your side bar, and I really understand alot of what you said. I moved from Northern Cal. to Southern Cal. to be close to my daughters, and it was a little scary cause I lived in No. Cal for for many years, but I think it was the best move we made because as you said, family is so important. I really like your HEADER. You sound like such a caring person. Me and my daughters started a new blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you, and I hope you have a lovely evening. Oh, I loved the hummingbird. They hold a special place in my heart for so many reasons. I am so sorry to hear that you lost your son.
